Associate Professor in the Department of Medical and Health Sciences, School of Health and Human Development. Integrated member of the HERCULES Laboratory & IN2PAST. Her current research interests include bioprospecting of bioactive extracts from seasoning plants, healthy eating and the Mediterranean Diet, functional foods, and phytotherapy. Co-author of several indexed publications (>50) in Scopus (h-index = 20). Author of numerous oral presentations (>50) and poster communications (>150) at International Scientific Congresses.
